Technique Isn't THAT Important
I posted something recently that got a lot of feedback. I said
“Technique Isn’t THAT Important”
I wanted to explain my stance a little better.
First of all, if your coach is anyone decent, then your technique should be good enough to get good at weightlifting. At that point, and for the next few years, the focus should be on improving strength.
If your technique is past the point of newbie gains, where you can’t tweak something in your technique and put 5kg on your snatch, then why try and focus on technique so much when it may only yield .5% increase per year. Instead, put 10kg on your squat, pull, press, and row, and crush your bodybuilding exercises, your lifts WILL go up.
Don’t believe me? Comment below why and lets talk this out!
