Strength Ratios Part 2

If you follow us on TikTok, you’ve probably seen posts on our page about strength ratios and how we use them to guide training. These videos are BLOWING up right now, so we’re going to share some of them here for you!

Remember that ratios are just a good way to find weaknesses, not the end all be all of training. Everyone is different, and therefore no ratio is perfect. Simply put, give it a try, and if you surprise yourself by finding something you didn’t know was a weakness, maybe implement it in your next training program.

The second ratio we like to focus on is in relation to single leg strength compared to double leg strength. For this we recommend people be able to Bulgarian Split Squat 45% of the 1RM Back Squat for 6 reps on each leg. Testing this can illuminate a few things. First it can tell you if your glutes and hamstrings need more training, as well as if there are significant differences from right to left leg.
