Strong From Home: Hamstring Slider

The Hamstring Slider is a fantastic exercise for the hamstrings and glutes that we typically use in small sets as a warm up for just about every day.

These are extremely challenging, as they do require a decent amount of coordination, as well as make you painfully aware of any strength imbalances you may have from left to right.

You will need a set of furniture sliders for carpet, or a towel will work for hardwood or tile.

The biggest mistake people make is letting their hips drop on the way up. Make sure to curl your legs AND lift hips up at same rate. You will know the moment you get it right.

As always, start with a moderately challenging amount of reps, and either add reps, sets, tempo, or pauses each week, progressively increasing the amount of work you can handle.
